Stephen's thoughts on 2010:

"Overall, 2010 is going to be a really positive, prosperous, happy and fun year. It's going to be busy, but with plenty of time to relax and enjoy ourselves too! Just be smart, think things through before speaking or acting on anything, and share the love and happiness with everyone you meet. A caveat: Those of us who are in more of an enlightened and balanced state will have a better than usual experience this year; those of us who haven't reached this state will still be wondering why life sucks.

I'd like to break down the year by sections, into the time periods covered by the solar trees of the Celtic Lunar Tree Calendar (Beth-Luis-Nion). In this calendar, Silver Fir begins shortly after the Winter Solstice and covers roughly January-March; Gorse is roughly March-May, including the Spring Equinox; Heather encompasses the Summer Solstice and the summer months into September; and Aspen covers the last months of the year, including the Fall Equinox. Finally, Yew, the fifth tree, is centered on the Winter Solstice.

Silver Fir (the first quarter) will be all about learning and deciding what we are going to be doing for this year and establishing perimeters for our experiences this year.

Gorse (the second quarter) will be all about love and happiness and bonding with those who we care most about.

Heather (the third quarter) will be a basking in the sun type of situation where we enjoy and reap the benefits of our loves and our accomplishments from the first half of the year.

Aspen (the fourth quarter) is going to be a time for reviewing the awesome year that we have had and the loves that we have shared and actually have those continue through to 2011.

Yew (the end of the lunar year) will be a time of coming together, opening up and sharing the years experiences with others, enjoying the happiness that has carried throughout the entire year, and looking ahead to the upcoming year.

*The Warning: There is no "fate" this year. Do not let things just sit and hope for the best. They will not turn out the way you want. This is a year of doing and experiencing and creating the life that is truly yours in all its glory."
